Brooklyn Nets

Last year, the Brooklyn Nets were victimized by the injury bug. Throughout the season, all three of Brooklyn’s “Big 3” were injured in some way. Unfortunately, tragedy struck the Nets once more during the NBA Playoffs, as they were defeated in seven games by the Bucks. While keeping Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn signed one-year contracts with Blake Griffin and Bruce Brown. Patty Mills was also signed in free agency, while the Nets selected professional scorer Cam Thomas and a great backup big in Day’Ron Sharpe. They will also be tremendously deep, with talent at every position on the floor. Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Joe Harris, Kevin Durant, and Blake Griffin are all expected to play.

Boston Celtics Starting Lineup Analysis

The Brooklyn Nets starters are Joe Harris, Taurean Prince, Jarrett Allen, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Caris LeVert. The Nets have been dealt a handful of injuries which is why the starters might not look like you expect. Garrett Temple also has had 31 starts.

Taurean Prince ranks 11th in player efficiency rating on the team, and that is dead last among the starters. Prince doesn’t bring a ton to the table outside of some wing defense and a few three-pointers. Others lead the way in scoring.

When healthy, Kyrie Irving is the starting point guard for the Brooklyn Nets. However, he has battled some shoulder injuries. When Irving is out, Spencer Dinwiddie will draw the starts at point guard. He has seen 49 starts out of 64 games for the Nets this season.

Spencer Dinwiddie has made 49 starts during the 2019-20 season, which is the fourth most on the team. With Kyrie Irving injured, Dinwiddie has been asked to make more starts and has delivered averaging 20.6 points per game.

Spencer Dinwiddie is the leading scorer on the Nets starting five. He has averaged 20.6 points per game this season, and that is the most on the team. He is averaging the most shot attempts among the starting five as well.
