Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards completed a major trade with the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for a 2021 first-round pick (Corey Kispert), Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Kyle Kuzma. Washington also signed free agent Spencer Dinwiddie to fill the vacuum left by Westbrook. The Wizards are now looking to build around Bradley Beal, who appears to be happy in Washington. They also acquired Aaron Holiday in a trade to bolster their backcourt. It will be a few years before Washington has any kind of Eastern Conference relevance, but as long as they add to their group of young, core players and keep Bradley Beal happy, they are on the right track.

Washington Wizards Starting Lineup Analysis

Bradley Beal, Thomas Bruant, Rui Hachimura, Shabazz Napier, and Jerome Robinson are part of the Washington Wizards starting line-up. The guards have been constantly changed on the roster, which has led to different starting lineups.

This season, the Washington Wizards’ starting lineup has been Bradley Beal, Troy Brown, Thomas Bryant, Rui Hachimura, and Isaiah Thomas. They only played 11 games together as the starting point guards and small forwards were switched during the season.

Bradley Beal averages the most minutes of any starter and is the only starter averaging more than 30 minutes, since the team relies on him for all of their offense. This season, Beal has averaged 36 minutes per game and made 57 starts.

Rui Hachimura, a promising rookie, is the Washington Wizards’ second-leading scorer in the starting lineup. This season, he has averaging 13.4 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field. Hachimura has a promising NBA career ahead of him.

Issac Bonga has been the Wizards’ poorest starter, ranking 17th in player efficiency rating among the starting five. Smith hasn’t had much of an influence on the offense, averaging 4 points per game on three field goal attempts.
