Last year, Utah enjoyed an outstanding regular season and earned the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. This surprised many NBA fans and analysts, not because the Jazz wasn’t deserving, but because the West is so deep. Unfortunately, as the No. 4 seed, the Los Angeles Clippers came back with a vengeance and defeated Utah in six games. Still, there’s no need to jump ship after such a successful season, and the front office agrees, as the Jazz’s core players have been retained for another title run.
After a shockingly dominant regular season, the Jazz should field an almost similar starting lineup next year. Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Ingles, and Mike Conley Jr. should all be included. The Jazz’s combination of shooting, ball movement, defense, and basketball IQ should keep them in the hunt for an NBA title.

Mike Conley, who joined the team from Memphis, begins at point guard with Donovan Mitchell, who plays shooting guard. At the wing, Joe Ingles and Bogdan Bogdanovic are both capable three-point shooters, and Rudy Gobert is a powerful rim-protecting center.
This season, the most frequently used Utah Jazz lineup has been Bojan Bogdanovic, Rudy Gobert, Joe Ingles, Donovan Mitchell, and Royce O’Neale. Because Conley was out for much of the season, this was the starting lineup for 27 games.
Donovan Mitchell is in his third season with the Utah Jazz, where he has started 63 games this season. Mitchell has showed the durability that some of the other young names don’t have after starting 70+ games in his first two seasons.
Donovan Mitchell leads the Utah Jazz in scoring this season, averaging 24.2 points per game. Mitchell entered the league instantly and provided the Jazz with a number one scoring threat. He has the most field goal attempts per game of any Jazz player.
Mike Conley has been the Utah Jazz’s worst starter, which was not what they planned for when they traded for him. In his Jazz debut, he has averaging only 13 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field.
