As one of the league’s newer teams, few people are aware of how good the Magic squad may be. Many of the Magic’s players are in the early phases of their NBA careers, so they have a lot to prove. The Magic’s backcourt has a mix of veterans and young players, including Micah Carter-Williams, Terrance Ross, Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton, Markelle Fultz, Gary Harris, and exceptional rookie Jalen Suggs. The Magic have some value on the wings and inside with Wendall Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, Jonathan Isaac, Mo Wagner, and his outstanding rookie younger brother, Franz Wagner. These guys will need time to develop, and the Magic will be a few years away from actually contending in the playoffs as a result. If Orlando remains on track, they should be a very good club in a year or two.
