When the Thunder selected Josh Giddey with the sixth overall choice in the NBA Draft, the world was taken aback. Giddey has fantastic potential, but many experts did not expect him to be taken so early. It’s still mind-boggling to imagine how many additional future draft picks the Thunder have if Giddey doesn’t play out. Regardless, the Thunder are another squad that is heavily rebuilding. They have tremendous possibilities to develop around, but they will struggle to win games in a stacked Western Conference that includes the Lakers, Suns, Jazz, Warriors, Nuggets, Clippers, Mavericks, Pelicans, and Trail Blazers. Thunder supporters should cherish any bright moments this year since the rebuilding process could take several years. The Thunder are expected to start Josh Giddey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Darius Bazley, and Derrick Favors.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari, and Terrance Ferguson are the starters for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder’s starting lineup has come as a surprise, despite the fact that they are still in the hunt for a postseason spot in the 2019-20 season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s most common starting lineup has been Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari, and Terrance Ferguson. This season, they have played a total of 27 games together. Luguentz Dort has started for Ferguson on occasion.
Terrance Ferguson has been the Thunder’s worst starter, with the lowest player efficiency rating and win share of any starter. Throughout the season, he has been in and out of the starting lineup.
With little true depth behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, he has averaged the most minutes per game (35.1) of any starter. He has been given a chance that was not available to him in Los Angeles.
Terrance Ferguson plays the fewest minutes of any starter, averaging only 23 minutes each game. The Thunder frequently rides the hot hand with him and Dort, but Ferguson doesn’t find many hot games.
