PJ Tucker targets the Bucks for their ‘disrespectful’ treatment of him

This week, PJ Tucker, a Heat forward, chatted with Marc J. Spears of Landscape. In the interview, PJ Tucker, who played for Milwaukee last season. Slammed the Bucks for how they handled him as a free agent.

If the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks meet in the Eastern Conference Finals this season, it will be a bitter rivalry for various reasons.

He stated the Bucks, “They simply weren’t going over the luxury tax.” “It’s simply the way it is.” They loved you and everything, but they weren’t going to talk about it. They believed they could take my place, and they did.

“Even as a vet, it’s like, ‘All right, you f—— replaced me,'” she says. “It’s cool,” PJ Tucker, 36, continued. “It wasn’t even about money for me”. It was more about showing respect because they essentially instructed me to go out and find an offer, and they’d match it. After hearing that, I’m not returning, even if it means taking less money. That didn’t seem very kind to me. So, as soon as they said that, I informed my agent, Andre [Buck], ‘We’re going on, whatever we get out of it,'”

In the interview, PJ Tucker said that he loves Milwaukee and that the “wonderful” Bucks fans treated him well during his time there.

PJ Tucker, a seasoned big, was a critical 3-and-D role player for the Bucks during their run to the NBA championship in 2021. On the other hand, Milwaukee decided not to re-sign him in free agency that summer instead of signing Wesley Matthews. And providing more significant roles to Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton. PJ Tucker is now having a similar effect for the rival Heat as an uncompromising defender against elite players. Like Trae Young and James Harden and one of the NBA’s most delicate corner three-point shooters. And a beast on the offensive boards earning Miami a plethora of additional possessions.

PJ Tucker, signals to a two-year, $14.3 million deal with the Heat. Has previously voiced dissatisfaction with the Bucks’ decision to let him depart. However, they are certainly PJ Tucker’s most forceful remarks to date on the subject.
