In the 2021-2022 season, the reigning NBA champions will seek to defend their championship with the same cast of characters. Giannis Antetokounmpo, their ringer, is back, which is wonderful news for the Bucks because no one has discovered a way to slow him down. Khris Middleton, who excels at ball handling and shooting, has also returned as a backup option. The Bucks also have Jrue Holiday returning, who may have been the key to the Bucks’ title since he provides exceptional perimeter defense as well as crucial offensive efficiency at the point guard position. Milwaukee did, however, lose P.J. Tucker’s defensive abilities will be missed, but that’s nothing that Pat Connaughton, Donte DiVincenzo, Brook Lopez, George Hill, Jeff Teague, and freshly signed Grayson Allen can’t make up for. Milwaukee is the east’s favorite, and they have a good chance of repeating as NBA champs.
