Indiana Pacers

Throughout the offseason, the Indiana Pacers stayed largely consistent. Speculation: Myles Turner trade rumors swirled for weeks, but they never got any farther. There was even discussion of the ‘Cers selling Malcolm Brogdon and starting again. However, none of that happened, and it appears like Indiana will give this unit another year to see what happens before destroying it. On draft night, Indiana also picked Chris Duarte and traded for Isaiah Jackson. Duarte, a really gifted all-around guard/wing, could get playing time right away. He will most likely not begin with T.J. Warren and Caris Levert in charge of the two-guard and small forward positions. Assuming no last-minute deals, the Pacers’ starting lineup will be Malcolm Brogdon, Caris Levert, T.J. Warren, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner.

Indiana Pacers Starting Lineup Analysis

Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, Malcolm Brogdon, TJ Warren, and Victor Oladipo are the Pacers’ starters. Indiana has not had a difficult time avoiding injuries, but they have returned to full health with Oladipo’s return. This season, Sabonis is also a new starter.

Victor Oladipo is the Indiana Pacers’ greatest starter, and he has matured into one of the league’s top guards. In his career, he has averaged 17 points per game, with the majority of those coming after he departed the Orlando Magic.

The Indiana Pacers’ starting point guard is Malcolm Brogdon. This season, he’s averaging 16 points and seven assists a game. During the 2016-17 season, Brogdon was the Milwaukee Bucks’ rookie of the year.

Because of his injuries, Victor Oladipo has only made ten starts this season. During his first few seasons in the NBA, Oladipo was frequently in the 60-70 area. When completely healthy, he is a regular starter.

TJ Warren, the Pacers’ freshly acquired point guard, has been the team’s leading scorer. He is averaging 18.7 points per game, which is not surprising given that he is also averaging the most field goal attempts.
