Nuggets championship prospects were harmed more than they would want to admit by the loss of Jamal Murray last season. Denver is in a terrific situation because Murray is returning from an ACL tear and has the reigning MVP in center Nikola Jokic. Jokic is a unique player since he is a sluggish center with the best skills in the league. He has eyes in the back of his head and is capable of making any pass in the sun. He also shoots the ball well, and the way he and Murray play together suggests that they are psychic. Denver is a terrific squad overall because it has shooters like Monte Morris and Michael Porter Jr., as well as great rebounders and big men like Aaron Gordon, Paul Millsap, and Will Barton. During the offseason, the Nuggets signed Jeff Green, who should add another strong veteran to a team.
