NBA PLAYOFF ODDS: PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS (35-25) vs. DENVER NUGGETS (25-35).

The Denver Nuggets have received six of their last seven video games and are on a four-sport winning streak. After dealing with the Kings on Saturday, they may play the second one of those returned-to-returned video games. NBA PLAYOFF: The Portland Trail Blazers entered the All-Star weekend on a four-sport triumphing streak, their best of the season. On the other hand, the Warriors, on the other hand, annihilated them at their maximum sport in Oregon.

These Northwest Division rivals have met three times this season, with Denver leading the series 2-1. Six of the previous ten head-to-head meetings had been won by the Nuggets. NBA PLAYOFF: On Sunday, February 27, the game will begin at 9 p.m. ET.

Denver had no issues with Sacramento.

The Denver Nuggets dominated their fourth consecutive match, overcoming the Sacramento Kings 128-110 out and about. Michael Malone’s group shot 55.8 percent from the field, with the Nuggets hitting 15 three-pointers to Sacramento’s nine. Denver handily covered a four-four unfurl for the 6th time in seven games. The Nuggets’ ATS record is presently 28-31.

Michael Porter Jr. (back) has been precluded for the season. Jamal Murray (knee) is still out, and DeMarcus Cousins (sickness) and Zeke Nnaji (hamstring) are both sketchy for Sunday.

NBA PLAYOFF: The Nuggets’ offense ranks 13th in the NBA, averaging 110.2 points per game, while their defense ranks 12th, allowing opponents 107.8 points per game.

Portland vanished in the face of Golden State.

The only notable Blazers in this crushing defeat were Anfernee Simons (24 PTS), Justise Winslow (14 PTS), and Josh Hart (12 PTS, 6 REB, and 4 AST).

Joe Ingles (knee) and Nassir Little (shoulder) will miss the rest of the season. NBA PLAYOFF: Damian Lillard (abdomen) and Jusuf Nurkic (foot) are both out indefinitely, and Eric Bledsoe (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday.

The Blazers’ offense ranks 20th in the NBA, averaging 107.9 points per game, while their defense ranks 26th, allowing 112.4 points per game to opponents.

Portland Trail Blazers Betting Outlook

Inside the Numbers (2020-2021)

Overall, the score was 42-30 SU, 38-34 ATS, and 36-35-1 OU.
On the road, the score was 23-14 SU, 23-13 ATS, and 22-14 OU.

Subsequent to being wiped out from the end of the season games in five games to start off the Lakers’ prevailing title run last year, Portland has gotten back to the first round intensely, asserting an explanation win in Saturday’s series opener against the third-cultivated Nuggets.

NBA PLAYOFF: Here, there is still a lot of balls to be played. Portland demonstrated in that matchup that its past progress wasn’t simply a “normal season thing,” and the Nuggets might confront a harder fight than they expected, particularly without Murray on the floor.

During the regular season, the Blazers leaned toward the high-scoring end of the spectrum, with the total finishing at 38-34 in games involving Portland, which ranked fourth in the conference in that category.

NBA PLAYOFF: Portland, on the other hand, looked like a completely rejuvenated team down the stretch, which kept the total below the number in four of the Blazers’ final six regular-season games.

If the Blazers had put forth a typical shooting effort from beyond the arc, Saturday’s series opener against Denver would have likely stayed under the total as well.

Portland, on the other hand, shot 19 three-pointers at a 48 percent clip in that game, resulting in a 123-point offensive performance that paid off by a few baskets (O 226).

NBA PLAYOFF: Starting Lineups

Nuggets: C Nikola Jokic, PF Jeff Green, SF Aaron Gordon,  SG Will Barton, PG Anfernee Simons

Blazers: SF Justise Winslow, PF CJ Ellerby, C Drew Eubanks, PG Anfernee Simons, SG Josh Hart

Prediction for the game between the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers

Nobody will want to confront Jokic throughout the evening. The Nuggets’ leftover program will confront a group that they are better than. Accordingly, Portland will tolerate one more major misfortune. Nurkic is the main center in the Trail Blazers’ program who gets an opportunity against Jokic. Furthermore, Nukic is out because of an injury. Plan to see what a bull in a china shop resembles. NBA PLAYOFF: The bet is on the Nuggets to win and cover.

NBA PLAYOFF: I’ll also take a look at Jokic prop bets… I’m going to see if I can bet on Over and Under 30 points… I’m going to bet on Over. Jokic is expected to drop 34, 12, and 8.

NBA PLAYOFF: Full-Game Betting odds

Despite Portland hitting 19 three-pointers at a 48 percent clip in Game 1, the Nuggets stayed competitive for the majority of their double-digit loss – even building a sizable second-half lead during what will likely end up being the Blazers’ best offensive performance of this series.

I’ll back Denver to win this game because I doubt Portland will maintain this level of efficiency from beyond the arc throughout the series – and even if they do. NBA PLAYOFF: I still think the Joker and company have a puncher’s chance in Monday’s pivotal Game 2 matchup.

The Nuggets are playing the second of two games in a row, but they are playing their best basketball of the season, and I don’t see the Blazers beat them here. NBA PLAYOFF: With Nurkic out, Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP, will have a much easier job. I am confident that the Nuggets will hurt the Blazers from the inside and score a lot of easy points. Furthermore, the home team has a few more players on the bench, and the Nuggets must capitalize on this situation and continue to put on strong performances. Denver has defeated far tougher opponents than the Blazers, and I expect them to win the season series with their third home-and-home victory of the season.

Take the Nuggets at-7.5 points. (-110)
